Amapani Hills are located in Kalahandi district of state Odisha, India. This is a picturesque hill range and often generate the most panoramic view for the visitors. A frolicking vally called Haladigundi in thishill range exhibits some peculiar features due to the reflected rays on the sun. The objects of vision appear yellow in the morning and evening time. The whole area abounds in spotted deer, Sambar and Black Panthers who can be seen at the Behera reservoir. 5 K.Ms away there is an another tourist place called Gudahandi where you can see the pre-historic cave paintings.

Nature has gifted so many things to this part of the world. This is also the home for several other tourist attractions of Kalahandi district like Belkhandi, Manikeswari, Phulijharan, and Dokarichanchara. This place has vital archaeological importance and it has historical significance. This place surround by small hills, perennial waterfall, rivers, dense forest, picnic spots, temples is a perfect destination for nature lovers and photographers.
