Brahmapur or Berhampur is a city located on the eastern coastline of Ganjam district of the Indian state of Odisha in East India. The city is famous for silk sarees and the trading centre for the beautiful hand-woven Ikat silk. The city is known as 'Silk City of Odisha'.
